Every job starts out with hardscaping, and this is where the founding
partners of Paradise Cityscapes got their start in the industry.
Everyone on our crew is skilled and experienced in various hardscaping
techniques, and founding partner Liam Hall is certified as a Certified
Concrete
Paver Installer by the
Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute. We use a
range of hardscaping and masonry materials,
including brick, compressed concrete slabs, water-permeable Aqua
Paving,
sandstone, slate, recycled concrete, formed concrete, granite chunks,
boulders, and more. We create custom driveways, patios, paths, rock
walls, raised beds and borders, retaining walls, steps, benches, and
other garden accents. We use boulders to help stabilize slopes, and we
use
very small rock chips in feature scree slopes.
We offer several alternative hardscape services that minimize the
ecological footprint of your property development. These include
terrain modifications, gravel or turf paving of driveways and walkways,
and water permeable concrete pavers.
In our
brick laying, we use a masonry saw to cut bricks into custom shapes for
a snug fit. Depending on your prefernce, we can create your hardscaped
surfaces to have spaces for groundcovers or trailing plants to fill-in
between the bricks or stones for a softer, more-textured look. There
are also sealants that
can be applied for surface-protection, and to give a "wet" look to the
paved area. In-laid designs can be set into the brickwork of driveways,
patios, or paths. Let us know what your ideas are!
